We all need a midwife. Not to do our work for us but to see us naked and call us beautiful. To acknowledge we are more than a vessel. To witness our power and remind us when we have forgotten what we can do -Emily Graham

PreNatal Care

  • Initial Visit- it is a two hour visit and includes a complete medical and health history, initial blood work and labs, a physical exam, personal check in and prenatal appointment and the start of us building your individual container of care together.

  • Continuing prenatal care visits are done monthly until you are 28 weeks pregnant. At this point we start to see one another every two weeks until your 36 week of pregnancy. The 36 week visit is done in your home with your entire birth team. From here we began to see one another each week until your beloved baby is born. These visits are minimum an hour long. We always provide individualized support for both you and your baby with a physical assessment as well as emotional and spiritual support so that you have all you need as you embark on this powerful journey of birthing and parenting your baby.

  • Standard of care lab testing is offered and is as follows
Initial prenatal package blood work (CBC, blood type, antibody screen, HIV, rubella, syphilis, Hepatitis), Pap smear, chlamydia and gonorrhea and any other testing that may be needed.

  • 28 weeks: CBC and follow-up antibody screen for Rh-women, Gestational Diabetes Screen
